“This is beyond devastating to say the least. It is unimaginable to lose someone so young and his family affected by his sudden death,” said Somy, who now runs the NGO No More Tears (NMT) in Miami, USA. leads, who “supports and empowers survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence.” She adds that such incidents often leave an unforgettable impression on our hearts.
Somy Ali on Sidharth Shukla’s untimely passing:
Somy also shares two incidents that NMT has recently dealt with to explain a true realization. “Last week we lost a three-year-old child to rape and strangulation. And it was very difficult for me personally to deal with that death. We also had a victim who was repeatedly stabbed by her friend and beaten flat. She almost died, but then happily came back to life. It was a miracle. But all this shows how unpredictable life is and how we can be completely gone in less than a millisecond. I see horrors every day because of the nature of my work. My sincere condolences to Sidharth’s family. Unfortunately, no one has to go through the grieving process, which is endless,” she concludes.
