1. WandaVision – Disney+ Hotstar

WandaVision is a slow burn, it takes time to set up the plot, especially in the first few episodes before it all explodes in the second half of the show. The series follows the Scarlet Witch, also known as Wanda Maximoff, who faces immense grief after the death of Vision at the hands of Thanos, whom she had loved. She creates a bubble, where she recreates Vision in this world and strives to live happily. But strange things begin to happen that further unravels the sinister plot of certain dark forces. WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and Kathryn Hahn in lead roles.

2. Your Honor – Voot Select

Who wouldn’t love a Bryan Cranston show that reminded them a lot of his Walter White character? your honor This time, the talented actor plays a respected judge who will go to great lengths to cover up his son’s hit and run. In the process, he opens a can of worms that raises the stakes much more than he expected. The early reviews of the show were very positive and are definitely a show for you to enjoy.

3. Nomadland – Disney + Hotstar

Frances McDormand is Fern, a woman in her sixties who, after losing everything during the Great Recession, decides to travel the American Midwest. She only has her van and everything in it. The experiences she gains, doing chores to survive, meeting new people every day are brilliantly interwoven by director Chloe Zao in nomad land.

4. Rush – Lionsgate Games

Relive the epic rivalry between James Hunt and Nicki Lauda in the 1970s, where two Formula 1 drivers compete to become the best in the world. While Lauda had Ferrari’s support, Hunt had to rely on his driving skills to beat his nemesis. Rush is directed by Ron Howard and still gives me chills watching some of the iconic moments on the track. Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl as the two drivers are brilliant and an absolute joy to watch.

5. Highway – Disney+ Hotstar

One Alia Bhatt starrer that completely overwhelmed me thanks to her performance was this Imitiaz Ali movie. Just before her wedding, Alia Bhatt is kidnapped by a local mobster. She then embarks on a journey with the gangster where she begins to find new meaning in her life. She slowly begins to develop feelings for the gangster and also begins to enjoy the life she currently has. AR Rahman’s music complements the film very well and makes it a very good watch.
