Walker’s Bluff Casino is a riverboat casino located in the town of Wyaconda, Illinois. It is the only casino in the state of Illinois that is located on a river. The casino is owned and operated by the Wyaconda Tribe of Indians.

History

The Wyaconda Tribe of Indians first opened a casino in Wyaconda in 1992. The casino was originally located on land that was leased from the state of Illinois. In 2002, the tribe purchased the land on which the casino is located.

In 2007, the tribe opened a new casino on the same site as the original casino. The new casino is larger and more modern than the original casino. It features a variety of gaming options, including slots, table games, and a poker room.

Walker’s Bluff Casino is located at 100 Casino Drive in Wyaconda, Illinois. The casino is located on the Mississippi River, approximately 10 miles south of the city of Rock Island.

By bus, Walker’s Bluff Casino is served by the Rock Island Public Transportation District. The casino is located on the Route 10 bus line.

By train, Walker’s Bluff Casino is served by the Amtrak California Zephyr. The casino is located approximately 1 mile from the Rock Island Amtrak station.
