Sulthan Movie Review: Starring Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna, the rural drama Sulthan hit theaters today April 2, and let’s watch the story.
Story: Sulthan (Karthi) is the son of an elderly don (Napoleon) and he is raised by the hundreds of rowdies who work for the don Napoleon. He takes over as the leader of his father’s gang of henchmen and makes their lives better and clears the noisy tag behind their names. He wants to make them farmers. Will Sulthan achieve success in his mission? To get the answer, one has to watch the movie Sulthan on the screen.
- Rashmika Mandanna
- Interval bang
- Predictable scenes
Performance: Karthi plays the titular role of Sulthan and he looks good on screen. He is charming and energetic like Sulthan. He is the main backbone of Sulthan. Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna has an impressive performance and she looks adorable. Sathish is wasted in an instant and miss role. Garuda Ram is very menacing like Jayaseelan. Justify Lal, Yogi Babu, Napoleon and Ramachandra Raju with their roles.
Technical: Bakkiyaraj Kannan’s sole intention is to provide an entertaining masala entertainer in the form of Sulthan and it succeeds to some extent. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s powerful backing score in the action scenes takes the mass element to another level. The songs are impressive and give good support to the film. The movie Sulthan loses its josh and fun right after the break and it gets too hard to get back on track. The scenario is delayed in the second half. Sathyan Sooryan’s cinematography is good.
Analysis: Sulthan is a pakka theatrical mass entertainer. Go check it out.
