History of the St. Louis Hollywood Casino Amphitheater
The St. Louis Hollywood Casino Amphitheater was built on the site of the former Riverport Amphitheatre, which was demolished in 2007. The new amphitheater was designed by the architectural firm Populous and built by the general contractor JE Dunn Construction. The amphitheater opened on June 20, 2008, with a concert by Kenny Chesney.
