In the second film, Ko Chun (Stephen Chow) has turned into a powerful crime boss in Macau. He is approached by a mysterious man, who claims to be his long-lost father. Ko Chun is skeptical, but the man convinces him to return to Hong Kong to investigate a series of kidnappings. In Hong Kong, Ko Chun reconnects with his old friend, Fatso (Chow Yun-fat), who is now a police officer. Together, they try to solve the kidnappings and find out who is behind them.
