The Foxwoods Casino Grand Pequot Tower is a 32-story, 632-room hotel and casino located in Mashantucket, Connecticut. It is the tallest building in Connecticut and the second-tallest building in New England. The casino is owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe.
History
The Foxwoods Casino Grand Pequot Tower was built in 2008 as part of a $1.2 billion expansion of the Foxwoods Resort Casino. The tower was designed by the architectural firm Arquitectonica and was built by the Turner Construction Company. The tower was opened to the public on October 28, 2008.
