Clams Casino Recipe (Easy and Delicious)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh clams, scrubbed and debearded
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Arrange the clams in a single layer in a shallow baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the butter, onion, celery, bell pepper, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Spoon the butter mixture over the clams.
  5. Pour the white wine into the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the clams are open.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.

Tips
