Recently, the giant streaming site released a new anime show ‘Yasuke’ on its platform that has attracted many viewers around the world.

Yasuke season 2 renewed for season 2?

Yasuke’s first season was released on Netflix on April 29, 2021 and became an instant hit, popularly among the anime enthusiasts. Yasuke is Netflix’s original animated series based on an old character of the same name. A historical figure, Yasuke was a warrior of African descent who worked under the Japanese daimyo Oda Nobunaga in 16th-century Japan during the Sengoku period of samurai struggles.

The series was created by LeSean Thomas and the animated work was created by the Japanese animation studio MAPPA. LaKeith Stanfield is cast as the titular character for this anime series. The anime series ‘Yasuke’ is produced by Matthew Shattuck while it was created under the direction of LeSean Thomas and Takeru Satō. The series was released on 29^th April 2021 on Netflix, however, there is no such update regarding the renewal of the second season. Since the series was just released at the end of last month, the announcement of the second season is expected to be made in the coming weeks.

Yasuke season 2 release date

As of now, Yasuke has not officially been updated and Netflix has not made an update on this either. The first season contained a total of six episodes that aired on the same day i.e. April 29. Episode one of Yasuke (Season 1) is titled “Ronin”, followed by “The Old Way”, “Mortal Sins”, “The Long Road”, “Pain & Blood”, and “Balance” respectively.

If the second season of Yasuke is going to be extended, Netflix or creator of this anime series will most likely make an official announcement after a few weeks. However, if we look at Yasuke’s previous season one trend, it is expected that Yasuke may return with Season 2 in the spring of 2022 or early 2023.
