Writer is an upcoming Tamil movie starring samuthirakani in the lead. Directed by Franklin Jacob, the film was financed by Pa. Ranjith’s Neelam Production, Golden Ratio Films and Little Red Car films. Govind Vasantha composes the music for the film. Pratheep Kaliraja and Manigandan Sivakumar provide the cinematography and editing of the film.
The first look shows Samuthirakani as an honest police officer who records cases about the villain. It’s Dad. Ranjit’s third production film after Pariyerum Perumal, Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu.
