In Episode 8, titled “Murder, My Sweet,” Rita awaits his trial. Her lawyer wants to blame Isabel, and Rita agrees, thinking this is her only chance to go home. Catherine examines Rita’s belongings, looking for evidence that could explicitly expose Scooter. Bertram is mad at his wife for putting this mud in the mix. It is even more amazing that Dee saw Rocco repeatedly digging in the flowerbed in the garden. Seconds later, Isabel enters a field club in search of Alma and threatens to reward her with a photo if she is not rewarded.

In Rita’s place, Otto enters with a scooter that burns all the evidence. Looking back at the time when Isabel bravely seeded herself between Rita and Harry’s violent fight, Rita begins to doubt Isabel’s fence. Dee finds out about Mrs.’s cousin’s lost shows. Yost, and he suddenly remembers seeing a beautiful French casualty pot in his living room. Vern calls Isabel and asks her to testify while Bertram makes sure she gets paid.
