Planet Hollywood Casino is a casino and resort located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation.

History

The casino was originally built as the Aladdin Hotel and Casino in 1962. It was purchased by Merv Griffin in 1988 and renamed the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. In 2007, the casino was purchased by Planet Hollywood International, which rebranded it as Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. In 2016, Planet Hollywood International was acquired by Caesars Entertainment Corporation, which merged the casino with its own Flamingo Las Vegas resort.
