The show begins with Segev’s attack on the prison, where he was injured and bled to death. The story then unfolded 3 weeks ago, in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he and his daughter saw his wife Danielle perform at a dance venue. The next day, she plans to go for an interview in New York, but looks concerned when she receives repeated messages from a stranger who urgently wants to meet her.
Danielle ignores them and goes to the airport with Segev’s friend (Hit And Run). But while drinking coffee on the way, he was hit by a speeding car. Heartbroken, Segev later calls his parents to let them know, and although they promise to come to Israel at the same time, they are clearly missing at their daughter’s funeral.
Segev’s cousin Tali is a police officer and soon tracks down the local mugger whose car killed Danielle. However, local donors said the car had been stolen and it was soon discovered that the two men in the car were petty American criminals who had returned to New York City.
The survivors’ tourism director also realizes that the man responsible for his wife’s death may have been Isaac, a former military dealer and arms dealer who betrayed Segev in the past and now wants revenge. Our hero goes to the United States, where he meets his former friends Ron, a young criminal, and Naomi, a well-known journalist.
