Throw a coin at your Witcher, but also throw some coins at Netflix to get The Witcher get back to our screens faster. The series based on the beloved book series & video games was released in early 2020, about a million years ago. Because of the pandemic, come forward The Witcher season 2 has ended. Scattered? Spread the best word for it.
For many fans of The Witcher, they still have to wait for the release of The Witcher season 2. But when will that release date come? The Witcher season 2 has finished filming
Good news! The Witcher season 2 has officially ended with filming starting April 2, 2021. So today. Filming for today has been completed. Henry Cavill is so proud, look at him. He looks like a puppy with that very silver wig. Either way, it’s over. Now, however, the inevitable questions come when The Witcher the season 2 release date is in the pipeline.
After all, it has been a year since the first season of the series was released. Again, because of the COVID, filming for The Witcher season 2 resumed in July 2020. Since then, they have adhered to COVID guidelines for the UK. Beyond a hiccups in November 2020 when one of the crew members tested positive for COVID, they were able to continue filming. Heck, Cavill filled in after being injured on set.
That’s a commitment to the role.
When will we release season 2 of The Witcher
Uhhhh. Yes. This is where we shrug our shoulders and go “IDK man”. We can take a gamble, though. Our best guess is sometime in early 2022. That wouldn’t just be years ago The Witchers release, which means Netflix should get a season. But there is also the editing process to consider in addition to all the special effects that need to be added in the post.
So we think we’ll get some teasing in late 2021, probably a trailer, and then the season itself will drop in early 2022. Because The Witcher definitely feels like a winter show, you know? You have to stick with the surf on that front. Regardless, we’d be surprised if Netflix holds it for later in 2022.
Unfortunately, that’s pretty much all we have in terms of a guess when The Witcher season 2 has a release date. We sincerely base this analysis on Matchs release dates on Netflix, aimed at the summer. So we think that The Witcher may have something similar to the winter months. That’s why we’re covering December 2021 to February 2022 for a release date for the series.
So that’s it?
Actually. However, it was quite impressive how they filmed the season. According to showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich: “We filmed for 158 days with at least one unit, sometimes two, sometimes three, all with face shields, face masks and goggles and smeared with hand sanitizer. We shot in 15 locations, with 89 cast members and over 1,200 different crew members all bringing their craft to life. “
Personally it sounds like that The Witcher cast and crew also need a few coins.
