The very popular anime My Hero Academia returns this weekend with its fifth season of super-powered heroics. After season four defeated the heroes and heroes-in-training at UA High the Yakuza, the next season will follow the future heroes as they continue their training.

Season 5 of My Hero Academia is set to begin with the Joint Training Arc, where Class 1-A will face off against Class 1-B in a series of team fights. Viewers will remember many of the students from Class 1-B and the return of a favorite character, Hitoshi Shinso.

The fast-approaching season will also feature the anime’s 100th episode, so that’s definitely going to be a remarkable milestone.

My Hero Academia Season 5 can be seen very early on FunimationNow on Saturday, March 27.

While Funimation hasn’t confirmed the timing of the season 5 premiere episode, the simulcast premiered at 5:30 a.m. EDT last season in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland. Australia and New Zealand can watch My Hero Academia through AnimeLab

As for the English dubbing, Funimation confirms that the episode will disappear after the Japanese airing, but more details are coming. We will update this section with the exact timing when we find out more.

CRUNCHYROLL

If Crunchyroll is more your speed, the anime streaming service will also have the fifth season premiere My Hero Academia on March 27. Crunchyroll hasn’t confirmed the timing of when the episodes will appear on its service, but they usually post an hour after they premiered in Japan, around 5:30 a.m. EDT.

My Hero Academia Season 5 will appear on Crunchyroll in the following countries: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Central America, South America, Caribbean. If fans in Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands want to watch, they must become a Premium member.

Crunchyroll does show ads if you choose to view the non-premium version, but the platform offers one Free trial for 14 days of its premium service. As with Funimation, you need to sign up for an account and provide some form of payment.

Anime fans can watch My Hero Academia on Crunchyroll on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as on iOS and Android appliances.
