Get ready to assemble! A new Lego Marvel movie is coming to Disney+ on October 27.
Marvel tweeted the news Monday morning, alongside a teaser poster for the film showing red Lego blocks being built into the Avengers’ “A.” Marvel has not yet released any further details, such as the film’s storyline or cast.

The upcoming special is the latest in a long-running series of Lego Marvel animated shorts, which began in 2013 with the five-episode TV series “Lego Marvel Superheroes: Maximum Overload.” Since then, they’ve only released 20-minute standalone animated shorts: 2015’s “Avengers Resembled,” 2017’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” and 2018’s “Black Panther – Trouble in Wakanda.”
“Code Red” was first teased at Lego’s booth at SDCC, where they had the movie poster on display in person.
While “Code Red” will likely be another 20 minutes short, it will at least hold die-hard Marvel fans until the highly anticipated “The Marvels,” which will see Brie Larson reprise her role as Carole Danvers in November. This year also sees the release of Season 2 of “Loki” in the Marvel Universe, available on October 6, and “What If…?” Season 2, “Echo” and “X-Men ’97,” will all be released in early 2024.
In the meantime, all previous Marvel Lego shorts are currently available to stream on Prime Video. If you’re not a Prime member, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial here.
Stream “Lego Marvel Avengers: Code Red” starting October 27 on Disney+:
