The Permission to open cinemas, closed for almost seven months due to coronavirus was granted from 15 October, although the decision was left to the state government. In some states, theaters opened and in some areas, the lock was still hanging.
Despite the permission to open theaters, there are only a few numbers of cinemas open in every city. In multiplexes, only one or two screens have been commissioned, in which only two or three shows are being shown daily. Single screen cinemas are unable to muster the courage to open locks that have been hanging for months.
Actually, there is no new film to show. In Covid Pandemic the audience does not come to see the new film, then who will watch the old films? In the shows that are going on, no of the viewers are very less.
So whatever shows happened, they were completely empty. Shows of some films had to be canceled for wants of an audience.
In this case, the electricity cost of the cinema is not met. The condition of the film industry is poor. The big producers want to release their film only when they are allowed to show the film with full capacity. Considering the situation at the moment, these two-three months are not expected that full capacity is allowed. Till then, cinema halls will keep on battling.
Are audiences afraid of coming to theaters? The answer will be known only when a film of a big or famous star is released.
Now the wait will get over very soon as the movie will get a release on 9 Nov 2020. Now it will be interesting to see how much the movie will impress fans, as hopes are very high for this movie. As this is the very first big release during a pandemic.
Before that many films surfaced but no one could make any miracles.
If he does not get the audience, then the answer will be that Corona’s fear is sustained. At the moment, it can only be estimated.
It is not a matter of everyone to follow sanitization and the guideline of the government. Many cinemas have very low incomes, so they cannot afford new expenses.
