The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is an American sports comedy television series based on the movie of the same name that came out almost 30 years ago. This series serves as a sequel to this 1992 movie.
Since the show serves as a sequel, the Mighty Ducks, who were once scrappy underdogs (in the movie), are now a formidable and title-winning hockey team, and that’s where the twist is, they’re the bad guys now.
Evan, who led the side, is now being punished for not being good enough and for his mother Alex’s persuasion to build his team to defeat the ducks and show the power of misfits at all costs side they have the first Ducks to coach Gordon Bombay to give them everything they need in this process.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers season 2 release date
Shooting for the series’ first season was set to begin in February 2020, but the pandemic prevented it from happening as planned. The official recordings started much later and the first season will eventually premiere on March 26, 2021.
The first ten-episode season will run until May 28, unless surprises are on the way, and we’ll have to wait for the first season to finish to see if the show is renewed or not. It has been renewed; maybe we’ll get to see the next season in 2022.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Cast
Brady Noon plays Evan and Lauren Graham as Evan’s mother Alex, and Emilio Estevez plays Gordon Bombay. With the first season still airing, it would be an assumption to think about the cast exits or the newer inclusions for the upcoming season.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers: Where to Watch?
The show is available exclusively on Disnery + and they air a new episode every Friday (10 episodes from the first season).
