Want to get some early details regarding: the Chi season 4 episode 9? Let’s start with where the episode is in the general order! “Southside With You” is the final episode before the end of Season 4, which we really hope isn’t the end of the series either.
It goes without saying, but doesn’t it feel obvious to everyone that there are many more stories to tell in this world? It feels like it could evolve endlessly and go on for several years, but it’s ultimately up to Showtime and also the producers/writers behind the scenes. We’ll keep our eyes open for more on that.
Unfortunately, the network doesn’t share too much about this episode in advance, other than the title — there’s a romantic undertone here, and it’s also a reference to a feature film about the early days of Barack and Michelle Obama’s relationship. Since the South Side is the main location for this show, there’s no way this title makes any sense at all.
When it comes to the preview for episode 9 that aired tonight after the episode, at least it gave us a little more insight into what the future holds — or at least how a big event can change you. Think along the lines of someone who is about to die! There are little things that can radically change your life over time, or big things that can change it in an instant. In this case, we look a little more at the latter than at the former.
Whatever happens here will surely lead to the finale – sometimes shows tend to use the penultimate episode to deliver their biggest moment!
