The Avengers Movies ruled the blockbuster movie scene like no other for almost a decade. No one can deny that the 2008-2019 MCU series is the most impressive – and almost every film in the franchise has made big money at the box office. But not every film in the lineup received equal praise from critics and fans alike.

The MCU introduced many superhero names throughout the epic 23-film journey of the Infinity Saga. But the main focus of the Infinity Saga was on the Avengers – the ultimate superhero dream team, consisting of – Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and the Hulk.

Their debut in Joss Whedon’s The Avengers was a success, making their second team film highly anticipated. However, it didn’t live up to expectations and ended up being a disappointment.
