TN+Plus Result 2021: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations had announced the HSC or TN+2 Result Date and Time on 17th July. According to an official notification, 2021 TN Class 12 result is expected today at 11am on 19th July. TN Plus Two result will be posted on the onboard websites – dge1.tn.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in and students need to login with their credentials to download scorecards.

TN +2 Result 2021: Tamil Nadu Board Exams This Year

The government of Tamil Nadu has promoted grade 9, 10 and Plus One students without any exams. Chief Minister K Palaniswami announced the promotion without examination in the meeting as he stated that they had “all passed” this academic year in view of the Coronavirus pandemic.

“Considering the unusual situation faced by teachers and students, the views of parents, in addition to the opinions of experts, become the students of standards: 9, 10, and 11, who are facing the annual / board exams in the academic year 2020- 21, announced as passed without writing the exams,” said the Chief Minister.

TN +2 results last year

A total of 7,99,717 candidates had appeared for the 12th exams last year and 92.3 percent of the students had qualified. Tiruppur district had registered the highest pass rate of 97.12 percent. Erode with 96.99 percent and Coimbatore with 96.39 percent were the second and third best performing districts. Virudhu Nagar and Namakkal make the top five with 96.26 percent and 96.06 percent respectively.

TN Result 2021: Re-exam for those who are not satisfied with the result

The Tamil Nadu Board allows the students to improve their scores if they are not satisfied with the results obtained through alternative assessment criteria. Details of the written exam will be announced later, an official statement said.

TN 12 Results 2020: Girls Pass Rate Was Highest In Tiruppur

Girls had a pass rate of over 90% in all districts of Tamil Nadu in the TN 12th results of 2020. This only slipped into the 1980s in Cuddalore where 89.92% girls passed. The pass rate of the girls was highest in Tiruppur – 98.04%. Boys had a pass rate between 80% and 90% in 14 districts. At Karaikkal, the success rate for boys is 79.41%

TN result 2020: science students achieved the highest pass rateings

The pass rate in class 12, or plus-two, Tamil Nadu Board exams was highest for science students last year – 93.64%. Commerce students were next with a 92.96% pass rate.

TN 12th Results: Highest Success Rate Recorded in 2020 in 5 Years

Last year, Tamil Nadu 12th students recorded the highest graduation rate, 92.34%, since 2016 when it was 91.4%. In 2017 it rose to 92.10% and fell to 91.10% in 2018. Last year it was 91.30%.

Last year, 7,79,931 students had appeared for the Tamil Nadu 12th examinations, of which 7,20,209 had passed the administrative examinations.
