Sharvanand is a graduate of a school in Hyderabad which is true. However, he has always wanted to dance. He was very interested in theater and music. Sharvanand attended Wesley Degree College in Secunderabad, India where he studied and eventually received his degree. He went to school there and earned a degree in business there. Idava Tareekhu was his first Tamil film. It was the main role (2004). The film made no money. Critics loved his 2004 thriller “Yuvasena,” which was about a vigilante. Chiranjeevi made his first appearance in a Thumbs Up commercial with Sharwanand where he also made his first appearance. He made his film debut only in Telugu film 5va Tareeku in 2003. Later on, Sharwanand worked with better known actors like Chiranjeevi in Shankar Dada MBBS and Venkatesh in Sankranthi and Lakshmi. Sharwanand rose to fame with the help of Amma and Vennela Cheppindi.
Sharwanand’s first film in Kollywood, Kadhalna Summa Illai was a remake of Gamyam which failed to do well at the box office or with critics. His second Tamil film, Naalai Namadhe was directed by him and starred Sharwanand. Engeyum Eppodhum is the name of Sharwanand’s third film he has made (2011). Sharwanand’s first film as a director was Ko Ante Koti which came out in 2012 and was also made by his company, Sarvaa Arts. The way Sharwanand played Raja was liked by many people.

The 2017 movie Mahanubhavudu was a huge hit. It was directed by Maruthi and Sharwanand was one of the stars. Sharwanand’s latest film, Jaanu, was released on 7 February 2020. He was in charge of this remake of C. Prem Kumar’s 1996 Tamil film.
