Despite the strict warnings given to the online piracy sites, the incidents of piracy don’t come up every weekend, some other movies fall prey to it.
The latest victim of this is the Kollywood movie Sarvajanikaarse Suvarnavakaasha. Hours after the opening of the movie at the box office, news came that the movie’s download links are available on various sites.
About the movie
This film belonged to both the comedy and the romance genre. Rishi, a big name in the Kannada industry, will share the screen with Dhanya Balakrishna. The duo’s love story is portrayed in a series of events that usually lead in comical ways.
About the movie leak
According to the reports, Tamilrockers, EZTV, Katmovies and Limetorrents are the websites where the leaked videos of the film are available.
Initially, the quality of the movie was not that great, but from now on the illegal links with improved video quality are available in different places. Torrent download links with multiple video quality options are also available.
According to the Cinematographic Law, 1952 anyone involved in piracy must have three years one imprisonment or a fine of Rs 10 lakh or both.
These websites are warned several times by the appropriate authorities, but apparently they are not listening. It is high time to take strict measures against them.
Watching illegal movies is also an illegal crime.
Impact on the film
The film will certainly experience a major dip in the collection, the expected results may not be achieved as some people might consider viewing the illegal movie available easily rather than going to the cinema. Again, it is up to the public to decide whether to support or oppose such acts.
