Sadak 2: Storyline
The film starts with the character of Alia Bhatt who wants to take revenge on a religious leader. Recalling the scenes from the 90s street film, the character of Sanjay Dutt enters Sadak 2 and it becomes clear that this film is a sequel to the Sadak Movie.
The entire plot revolves around love, loss, and redemption.
Sadak 2 is the official sequel to the 1991 Bollywood movie Sadak. The story starts from where it ended in the 1st part with a young girl’s struggling journey.
Like the previous Sadak, even in Sadak 2, Sanjay Dutt’s character Ravi is disappointed with his life. He wants to end it. Keeps trying to commit suicide again and again.
Sadak 2 seems to be a revenge story where Alia’s character is seeking revenge from a godman played by Makarand Deshpande.
She is assisted by Dutt, who is reprising his role of a taxi driver from the original 1991 release, and her lover, played by Aditya Roy Kapur. Produced by Vishesh Films, it also stars Jisshu Sengupta in a significant part.
The movie is filled with soulful songs, which offer a much-need relief from the intense storyline.
The film is a sequel to 1991 hit film Sadak, which chronicled the love story of a taxi driver Ravi, played by Sanjay Dutt, and a sex worker Pooja (Pooja Bhatt). Ravi helps Pooja to escape the world of the brothel, and the two decide to live together forever.
Watch Or Not??
It Is a Must Watch Movie.
I have watched this movie, and yes it’s not that great but a good movie, Better than ‘Dil Bechara’ (yes, it’s overrated).
Best movie ever. Alia looking fab as always. And his acting skills are the slap on their face who are abusing the star kids on the basis of nepotism in Bollywood.
