Ryan Dickey: A Brief Biography
Ryan Dickey is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, and New York Yankees. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on February 9, 1984. Dickey attended the University of Oklahoma, where he played baseball for the Sooners. He was drafted by the Brewers in the second round of the 2006 MLB Draft. Dickey made his MLB debut with the Brewers in 2008. He was a starter for the Brewers from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, Dickey was traded to the Mariners. He was a starter for the Mariners from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, Dickey was traded to the Yankees. He was a starter for the Yankees from 2015 to 2016. Dickey retired from baseball after the 2016 season. He finished his career with a record of 110-109, a 4.26 ERA, and 1,757 strikeouts.
