With the legendary Choreographer Saroj Kan’s demise, The speculations are high for her biopic. Saroj Khan ruled the industry from veteran times to the current ones. Saroj Khan’s daughter Sukaina Khan told in a recent interview that – Many Directors and producers approached her for the proposal of her biopic. But she profusely rejected each. As she was not interested at that time.
In fact, popular Choreographer turned producer Remo D’Souza was very keen to make her biopic. He wanted to show her real-life struggles on the screen. And insisted veteran to think about it.
But during her last days, she agreed to it and was of the views that
“Remo, being a dancer himself, would understand her journey, and hence, was the perfect person to helm the project,”
Remo D’Souza stated that:-
I promised her that I would visit her to gather information about her childhood and early days. But, I didn’t pursue it then as I was busy with my film.”
But after her demise, Now Remo D’Souza is eager to make her biopic and he said that:-
I should be the one making the film as she trusted me with it. I will take the discussion ahead with her daughter.“
