Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been invited as a guest speaker at virtual Girl UP Leadership Summit alongside women leaders like Meghan Markle, Nadia Murad, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and actor Jameela Jamil
Before that, she shared that she is an ambassador of the Toronto International Film Festival this year. The news comes a day after, the Sky is Pink actress announced that she has been invited to be an ambassador of the 45th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), slated to take place from September 10 to 19.
She wrote,
“Throughout my career @TIFF_NET has been a second home for me, with many of my films, as both an actor and producer, making their world debut at the festival.Even more than that, one of the most exceptional parts of the festival are the fans of cinema who congregate to celebrate the magic of the movies, and who have always embraced me with so much warmth and love”
Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic all across the globe, The Toronto International Film Festival has decided on digital screenings and virtual red carpets this year. The festival is scheduled to kick off from September 10 to September 19, 2020.
