It’s been over a decade since the beginning of Chhota Bheem who has ruled the hearts of children through television screens. Even after all these years, the popularity of the Dholakpur hero has not diminished a bit! So much so that, according to BARC data, Nickelodeon, after being at the top for a long period of time Motu Patlu has been dethroned by Chhota Bheem and Krishna to be the best children’s show on TV in week 32 (8-14 August).
Given this immense popularity and demand from the famous animated IP, POGO has started airing brand new episodes of Chhota Bheem from today August 24 every weekdays at 11:30 am.
Regarding the new episodes, Rajiv Chilaka, founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation, told Animation Xpress, “I am very excited to see brand new Chhota Bheem TV episodes on POGO after a three-year hiatus. Chhota Bheem has now been on the air for over twelve years and this year we’re producing about 39 episodes, bringing the total number of episodes to 318. I am very happy with all the love we have received for Chhota Bheem
In addition to the original 2D Chhota Bheem programming, as its spin-off also shows Mighty Raju, Arjun- The Prince of Bali, Super Bheem Chhota Bheem – Kung Fu Dhamaka and the Netflix original Mighty little Bheem have been extremely popular. Netflix already has a third season of Mighty little Bheem that is now in production.
With a selection of new kids’ programs hitting the market every day, Chhota Bheem doesn’t seem to have lost its charm yet. While often met with mixed reviews, the kids are quite loyal to the franchise.

POGO, which now focuses on new homegrown animated content, greetings Chhota Bheem as a very important part of its content programming program. Currently, POGO is second in the list of BARC’s ‘Top Five Channels’ after Nickelodeon in week 32 of 2020 and followed by Sonic, Hungama and Cartoon Network.
