Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (Part 1) Scene: The Black Pearl Characters: Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, Joshamee Gibbs Action: The Black Pearl is sailing through a storm. Jack Sparrow is on the deck, looking out at the sea. Elizabeth Swann is below deck, being held prisoner by Barbossa. Will Turner is on the deck, trying to get to Elizabeth. Dialogue:
- Jack Sparrow: (to himself) This is a bad storm.
- Elizabeth Swann: (from below deck) Help!
- Will Turner: (to Jack) We have to get her!
- Jack Sparrow: (to Will) We can’t do anything now. We’ll just have to wait until the storm passes.
- Will Turner: (to Jack) We can’t just leave her down there!
- Jack Sparrow: (to Will) We don’t have a choice!
- Elizabeth Swann: (from below deck) Help!
- Will Turner: (to Jack) I’m going to get her!
- Jack Sparrow: (to Will) Don’t be a fool! You’ll just get yourself killed!
- Will Turner: (to Jack) I don’t care! I’m going to get her! Will Turner jumps into the water and swims to the Black Pearl. He climbs onto the deck and runs to the cabin where Elizabeth is being held prisoner. He opens the door and finds her tied to a chair.
- Will Turner: Elizabeth!
- Elizabeth Swann: Will! Thank goodness you’re here!
- Will Turner: I’m here to rescue you. Will Turner unties Elizabeth and they run to the deck. They look out at the storm and see that it is getting worse.
- Will Turner: We have to get off this ship!
- Elizabeth Swann: But how?
- Will Turner: I don’t know. But we have to think of something! The Black Pearl is hit by a wave and Elizabeth is thrown overboard. Will Turner dives into the water and saves her. They swim to a lifeboat and climb in. The Black Pearl sails away into the storm.
