Pareeksha Movie Review:
Rating: 3.0 stars/5
Our overall rating is not an average of the sub scores below.
This movie shows what a father can do for his child for his Education. He crossed all the Limits. The Acting which is done by Adil Hussain is Great. His performance will definitely make you Emotional! A very Good Film on Education. Must watch! I recommend this film to everyone.
Prakash Jha’s ‘Pareeksha – The Final Test’ is based on the true story of IPS officer Abhayanand, who teaches kids in a village in Bihar affected by the Naxalism to help them clear the IIT-JEE exams.
The story, in the main, plays out in spaces that are consistently real and believable – especially Buchi Paswan’s abode and its environs – but the director does not shy away from taking recourse to emotionally demonstrative means to convey the desperation and anguish of the three key characters who continue to cling to hope in the face of poverty.
Pareeksha highlights the grave anomalies of our education system. But it also celebrates the indomitability of those who have nothing to lose except their misfortunes. The film strikes an instant chord.
