Author Chetan Bhagat recently announced his upcoming book, One Arranged Murder, and now he has released its cinematic trailer.
Published by Westland Publications, it is slated to release on September 28, 2020.
One Arranged Murder Trailer-Chetan Bhagat Said:
Sharing the cover of the book, he wrote,
“Happy to share with you the cover of my latest book One Arranged Murder. Pre-orders are open now and you can order the book ”.
The plot revolves around a man coming home to his wife on Karvachauth only to not find her anywhere.
At the trailer launch then, he had said,
“It is a movie-style promo. Such promos for books do not exist, I have to, again and again, explain to people that you have to read the book to figure out what happened… because the joy of books is something else.”
After the release of his new cover, many congratulated him and expressed interest in reading it. Some also speculated whether it is based on late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s life.
In the past too, the author had resorted to similar practices to promote his 2018 book, Girl in Room 105. Incidentally, Massey featured in it too.
About the book, he had told, “One Arranged Murder is a gripping murder mystery set in a backdrop of an arranged marriage. Not only does it have intense suspense, but it is also filled with humor, love, and relatable Indian characters — something common to all my books.
Notably, many films have been made in Bollywood based on the famous books of Chetan Bhagat. These films include Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’, Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’, Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s ‘2 States’ and Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Kya Po Che!’
