2. Garam Masala
Garam Masala is the only comedy film on this list, but it is well worthy of its position. Also, the fact that it’s free on Disney + Hotstar makes it an even more interesting watch. It usually shows constant bickering between two photographer friends, Makarand aka Mak (played by Akshay Kumar) and Shyam aka Sam (played by John Abraham). After Sam returns from an international shoot, he’s jealous to learn that Mak is enjoying the company of three women. Since they both love to flirt with women, they end up in a lot of tricky situations.

3. Hostages
Hostagesdirected by Sudhir Mishra; starring Tisca Chopra, Ronit Roy and Parvin Dabas in pivotal roles, it highlights the life of a surgeon whose family is held hostage the night before she is supposed to operate on the Chief Minister. She has been ordered to end his life for the sake of her family. It is a remake of an Israeli TV series of the same name that was released in October 2013.

You’ve probably heard of it now Special operations and its excellence. Interestingly, it was also one of the most tweeted shows on Disney + Hotstar. It focuses on an Indian intelligence agency and the operations its team has undertaken over the past two decades. Released in early January, the show has done a particularly good job of keeping its high rating on IMDb. Kay Kay Menon, Divya Dutta, Vinay Pathak, Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Sajjad Delafrooz and others support the series with their stunning performances. It’s one of two shows under the Hotstar Specials banner and is a must see.

5. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai
Relive your childhood by enjoying a show that introduced us to the iconic Maya Sarabhai. This family’s story first aired on our screens in 2004 and completed its successful run two years later.
