There is some disappointing news for Salman Khan fans. The long-awaited film of the actor Radhe: your most wanted Bhai can be delayed for one July Bakri Eid release. Initially, the film was scheduled for release at Eid 2020, but due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, the release was delayed.
As the pandemic was dying and normalcy was restored, a new release date was announced, and the film was scheduled for release on Eid 2021 i.e. May 13. As the 2nd wave has hit the country and Maharashtra and a few other states are already partially locked, the cinema release is expected to be pushed until July, on Bakri Eid.
What did Salman Khan say about the release date?
Speaking at a book launch of veteran actor Kabir Bedi’s memoirs, Salman Khan said preparations for May’s release are all set. They will do their best to release the movie in May when the 2nd wave drops out and things start to return to normal. But if the Covid continues their toll on lives, they will delay release.
He also asked everyone to follow closely all Covid 19 protocols and not abandon the guards, as another lockdown would seriously affect people’s livelihoods. He later also announced this on his social media accounts.
Can Radhe release on OTT platforms?
Salman Khan has already assured fans that the highly anticipated film would only hit theaters. There are no plans for an OTT release.
