Bleu and Coleman starred in the hit movie trilogy.
Bleu and Coleman – who played Chad Danforth and Taylor McKessie respectively in the 2006 film – star together in Lifetime’s “A Christmas Dance Reunion.”
Bleu, for example, was delighted to reunite with his ‘HSM’ co-star and bring the ‘Chaylor’ fans together by sharing the poster for the upcoming movie with his Instagram Wednesday and teasingly, “I have an early Christmas present for you!”
Added the 32-year-old “Dancing with the Stars” alum, “You’re going to love this !!!”
Coleman also gushed about the upcoming opportunity Instagram and added, “This was the hardest secret to keep !!!”
“Starring in a @ lifetimetv Christmas movie has always been a dream of mine, but never in a million years did I think I would be sharing the screen with one of my favorite people,” the 40-year-old actress revealed, adding that she and Bleu are “SO excited” that the movie appears on the small screen.
Also enthusiastic about the upcoming movie was “HSM” director Kenny Ortega, who raved about the comments: “What a great Christmas present for all of us !!!!”
Made for TV, the film focuses on Coleman’s character named Lucy, a hotshot lawyer who returns home to say goodbye to the local resort as it celebrates its last Christmas. Then she unexpectedly bumps into her old dance partner Barrett (Bleu), who is also the hotel owner’s cousin. Of course things start to heat up between the two.
“A Christmas Dance Reunion” – also starring Kim Roberts – will premiere this winter as part of Lifetime’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday marathon. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
