He goes to any extent to impress her. After Preethi leaves him for another guy, Arjun Reddy loses his mind and becomes an alcoholic. He gets into fights with people and is rusticated from the college. He returns to his hometown and starts working as a junior surgeon at his father’s hospital. Arjun Reddy continues his drinking habits and becomes a rude person. He falls in love with another girl, Deepika (Kona Venkata Vaishnavi), but she does not reciprocate his feelings. One day, Arjun Reddy meets Preethi again and she tells him that she still loves him. Arjun Reddy tells her that he cannot forgive her for what she did to him. Arjun Reddy’s father gets sick and dies. Arjun Reddy is devastated and he goes back to drinking. He also starts taking drugs. Deepika tries to help Arjun Reddy, but he refuses her help. Deepika eventually leaves him. One day, Arjun Reddy gets into a fight with a group of people and he is badly beaten up. He is admitted to the hospital and he is in a coma. In the hospital, Arjun Reddy has a dream where he meets Preethi and she tells him that she forgives him. Arjun Reddy wakes up from the coma and he decides to change his life. Arjun Reddy goes back to college and he completes his medical degree. He starts working as a doctor and he becomes a successful surgeon. Arjun Reddy also gets married to Deepika and they have a happy life.
