Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort is a casino and horse racing track located in Chester, West Virginia. The casino features over 2,000 slot machines, a variety of table games, and a poker room. The racetrack offers live horse racing from April to November, as well as simulcast racing from around the country.
Mountaineer Casino History
Mountaineer Casino was originally opened as a racetrack in 1966. The casino was added in 1988. The casino and racetrack were purchased by Eldorado Resorts in 2017.
