Story: Arjun (Vishnu) and Anu (Kajal) are siblings and they are not satisfied with the life they lead. Anu and Arjun team up with Sid (Naveen Chandra) for a massive scam in the US through a call center. They are defrauding the people on behalf of Internal Revenue Service officials – IRS, a US government agency and inviting the attention of the US anti-corruption department. What happens next makes up the rest of Mosagallu’s story.
- Illogical scenes
Performance: Vishnu Manchu plays his part with ease and Kajal Aggarwal also delivers a decent performance. She does her characters justice. Suneil Shetty’s character isn’t getting enough screen time to show off his acting. Naveen Chandra in the role of an aggressive drug addict is good. The rest of Mosagallu’s cast perform accordingly.
Technical: The creators of Mosagallu do well to simplify the IRS scam for a regular audience. The film has a strong and interesting premise that is abandoned by a weak story. Production values are rich. Sheldon Chau’s cinematography is impressive in a few scenes. Sam CS’s background score is one of the main highlights of the movie.
Analysis: Mosagallu is a good try from Vishnu Manchu.
