American singer Morgan Wallen, known for songs such as More than my hometown, whiskey glasses, still down, has currently apologized after using a racist insult. The American country singer was reportedly caught on video using the N word and another inappropriate language when he came home from a night out with his friends.

In the video TMZ obtained, Wallen can be seen walking to his house and someone says “to take care of this” ***** *** ************ “. He also heard it say, “Take care of this ***** *** n *****”. The video, posted on TMZ Tuesday night and reportedly recorded by Red Light District neighbors, shows him screaming blasphemy after a night out in Nashville, including the N word.
Morgan Wallen recently revealed in a statement to ET that he was very embarrassed and apologized for the same. He also said he had used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that he would like to take back. He also said there are no excuses for ever using this kind of language. He would sincerely apologize for using the word and promise to do better, Morgan added.

After the incident and the apology, many in the country music community have already responded to the situation, with Mickey Guyton tweeting, “This isn’t the first time he’s used that ‘unacceptable’ racial slur and we all know it. So what exactly are you going to do about it? Crickets don’t work this time ”. Kelsea Ballerini, meanwhile, tweeted, “The news from Nashville tonight does not represent country music”. Morgan Wallen currently has 23 upcoming concerts. Morgan Wallen’s next concert is said to start on June 10, 2021 and will be at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, then they will be at the Xfinity Theater in Hartford.

It has also been reported that Country Radio will remove Morgan Wallen from playlists following the racist slur. However, the official reports have been released by the company. This isn’t the first time Morgan Wallen has made headlines. In October, he was pulled from performing on Saturday Night Live after breaking COVID-19 protocols by drinking at a nightclub. Eight weeks later, Lorne Michael called him personally to welcome him to the show. He made fun of himself during his December 5th performance – with the help of Jason Bateman – for being kicked off the show. He was also arrested last May for public intoxication.
