Mismatched Web Series: Review
Rating: 2.5 stars/5
Our overall rating is not an average of the sub scores below.
“Mismatched is a show which should be watched for what it is, a light teenage drama to be binged on a weekend. There isn’t a lot of depth in it, but it really isn’t fair to expect it from the show in the first place.”
It is a romantic TV comedy series, whose season one is released on the Netflix streaming service.
Mismatched is a rom-com based on Sandhya Menon’s best selling book ‘When Dimple Met Rishi’. Dimple Ahuja (played by Prajakta Koli) wants to be a tech wizard and Rishi Singh Shekhawat (played by Rohit Saraf) is a young guy who believes in ‘60’s wala romance’ and has come to Aravalli Institute to find his ‘Future Wife’.
Now, will they succeed in landing their dream project while dealing with friends, bullies, and even each other? Watch the show to find out more only on Netflix.
Mismatched on Netlfix creates a young, fun, and drama-filled world of college students but with prospects of marriage looming that seems to be the biggest dampener.
Mismatched is a fun and quick watch which can be added to Netflix’s best rom-com and the streaming platform’s best book adaptations.
The screenplay does feel a little rushed but the dialogues and some cute moments between the characters make up for it.
