Actor R Madhavan-starrer movie “Maara” is scheduled to be released on Amazon Prime Video on January 8. The film is a remake of the 2015 Malayalam hit “Charlie”, which featured Dulquer Salmaan and Parvarthy.
The film was scheduled to release directly through Amazon Prime Video, skipping theatrical release, as a result of theatres being shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

Amazon Prime Video today dropped the first dialogue promo from the film. The dialogue promo shows us a child, intently listening to the story of a soldier who could never die.
The child, who grows up to be Paaru (Shraddha Srinath), finds out that the story is still following her and takes on the task to complete the story.
When Paaru sees a fairy tale she heard from a stranger as a child painted across the walls of a coastal town, she goes in search of the man who painted it.
