The urban fantasy dramatization of DC Comics characters Neil Gaiman, Sam Keith and Mike Dringenberg from, The Sandman, Lucifer is a brand new concept and a completely different take on the police procedure with comedy drama.
But at the same time, as judged by the critics, Lucifer tends to take anything and everything seriously now that it is both a sensational and quirky TV series.
Release Details:
Lucifer Season 1 was released on January 25, 2016 on Fox. It was an instant hit, with fans praising the series’ impeccable performances and dark undertone. Season 2 was subsequently released on August 22, 2017, Season 3 on August 28, 2018, Season 4 on May 12, 2020, and eventually Season 5 Part 1 on August 21, 2020

Hold the horses as it won’t be back with a sixth season for now, but with part 2 of the fifth, things got pretty interesting when Dennis Haysbert, the man who played God, took to Twitter and confirmed for a long time limited release for the second part of the fifth season of the series.
Plot hints:
The actor clarified how the release was still weeks away from expectations. He jokingly lightened the situation by saying that ‘The devil forced them to do it, ‘ in fact referring to the pet dialogue of the series.
Fans of Lucifer, or as they like to call themselves, ‘Lucifans’ were haunted as they expected a January release, but the COVID-19 situations only made it worse to comply with the plans.
Part 5 Season 1 ended with God’s imminent on Earth and our devil, “Lucifer,” embarking on a new adventure, reckless as ever; fans can’t wait to see them cross their path in Part 2 of Season 5.
The actor who played Lucifer’s brother, Amenadiel, gave us some hints as to how things will become dramatic and chaotic once God steps onto Earth; he even gave the idea how “God” gets disappointed in him because he misbehaved towards his brothers. Since he is the oldest, he is expected to behave.
