Legacies Season 4 Episode 5: New Look at Rebekah’s Return!

When legacies Season 4 Episode 5 airs this Thursday on The CW, it’s clear we’re entering a brand new era. It’s one that Hope will have as a tribid front and center, as well as questions swirling about whether she has any humanity left.

To defeat Malivore, Danielle Rose Russell’s character took a huge risk by giving up her own life. In doing so, she is fundamentally the most powerful creature in the world. She is dangerous, unpredictable and probably very different in personality from who she once was. There’s a lot that will be explored in the coming episodes, and we’re sure there will be a lot of people in general wondering if they can get through to her.

For the sake of this particular episode, that includes her Aunt Rebekah. The photo at the bottom of this article (via TVLine) gives you a glimpse into Claire Holt’s return to the franchise. Rebekah is understandable quite concerned about some of the decisions Hope has made, but at least she understands the pain and burden that can come from being a supernatural entity. She will more than likely do what she can to help, even if we’re not entirely clear on what kind of options there will be for her.

In the end, we’re kidding ourselves going into this episode with the belief that everything will end in a neat/clean way. We expect there will be a lot of carnage and it could be weeks or even months before the traces of old Hope return. Creatively we imagine this great unknown is what this season makes legacies so exciting to produce.
