Laxmii is an upcoming Hindi Comedy movie which is going to release on the OTT platform. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this movie is going to release digitally on Disney plus Hotstar. This film is written and directed by Raghava Lawrence in his Hindi directorial debut.
Laxmii is a Comedy plus horror movie. It features Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. It is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Kanchana.

Initially, Director Raghava Lawrence Upcoming Movie ‘Laxmmi’ was declared to be hit the Box Office on 22nd May 2020 on the occasion of Eid, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its release got postponed. Now “Laxmii ” is all set to release on 9th November on Disney + Hotstar.

“Laxmmi Bomb”Or “Laxmii”
The new development that has made about the movie is that the Film title got changed from the Laxmmi Bomb to Laxmii on October 29. The maker changed the name after the protest by several Hindu outfits as they believe it is an insult to Goddess Laxmi.
According to the Reports, Karni Sena sent a legal notice to the makers and demands to change the title of the movie. After the discussion with the Central Board of Film Certificate(CBFC), the makers took the decision to change the title of the movie from the Laxmmi Bomb to Laxmii.
It is a remake of the Tamil Movie Kanchana. The film revolved around a couple of vengeful ghosts who haunt an innocent man to get justice for their murders.
In this movie, Akshay Kumar played the role of Transgender. Akshay Kumar has shared the first look of him as Laxmi on the occasion of Navratri. Speaking about his role in the movie, Akshay Kumar told:
“In my career of 30 years, this is my most mentally intense role. It has been that tough. I have not experienced something like this before. The credit goes to my director Lawrence Sir”.
