When a show becomes as popular as Only Fools and Horses, it’s no surprise that the stars become household names.
The antics of the Trotters and the others Peckham residents won the hearts of a country when the show was first released in 1981.
While the original cast received the most praise, those who competed for later seasons also won fans.
One of them was Pamela Parry, played by Wanda Ventham.
Pamela appeared as a recurring character between 1989 and 1992 and was the somewhat cocky mother of Rodney’s beauty Cassandra.
She brought her own comedic relief, swiping aside her husband’s childish antics, his drinking at the Nags Head, and even the pub wedding reception
Ventham was a recognizable face on TV at the time, starring in loads of TV shows and movies.
But for newer audiences, it’s her son, Benedict Cumberbatch, who is famous.
