ISL 2020-21 Hyderabad FC vs Kerala Blasters: Nizam’s eye play-off spot against Kerala; Watch HFC vs KBFC Live Streaming Online on Hotstar:For most of the Indian Super League (ISL) season, Hyderabad always held their place in the top four. But now, with three games to go, they are at fifth level on points with fourth-seeded FC Goa and two points below NorthEast United.
Hyderabad cannot afford more slip-ups. They have played six draws in their last seven games. And when the Nizams face Kerala Blasters at Tilak Maidan Stadium on Tuesday, they will know that more points lost will hugely erode their playoff ambitions. On paper they face one of the most vulnerable parties in the competition, who plays for pride. Kerala has sent 29 goals, the second worst number. Their defense was so fragile that Kibu Vicuna’s side has now lost 18 points after scoring the first goal. But for Hyderbad coach Manuel Marquez, that doesn’t mean they should be taken lightly.
“All other teams, from Kerala second from the bottom to the top positions, can climb positions in the table,” Marquez said.

“We will play with Kerala with our style. We won’t change that because (we have to win). We are unbeaten for nine games, but six of them are a draw. We must continue in the same vein and try to win the match because our season has been fantastic. We want to be in the top four, ”he added.
A lot of drama can be expected from these two parties until the final whistle. Fourteen of Kerala’s 22 goals have been scored in the second half, while Hyderadad has scored 16 goals after halftime – the second most by a side this season.
The defense of both sides also failed to absorb the pressure during this period. Kerala conceded 18 goals in the second half, the most by any team this season. Meanwhile, Hyderabad conceded 11 of their 17 goals in the second half. However, a great Kerala coach, Kibu Vicuna, wants his team to improve their ability to convert odds.
“We have a lack of balance between offense and defense. In most of our games we created more chances than the opponents, but we don’t get the points. We need to improve this aspect. We work and analyze our mistakes. We try to have a more positive percentage in the relationship between creating opportunities and scoring goals, ”said Vicuna.
