Top picks for the auction.
In the battle department, expect Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell, Tom Banton, Aaron Finch, Eoin Morgan and Jason Roy to go for big bucks. Teams prefer it for their explosive hitting style.
In the bowling department, we can expect Pat Cummings, Dale Steyn, Sheldon Cottrell and Isuru Udana to bring in the highest bids.
As for Indian players, Devdutt Paddical, Jaydev Unadkat, Hanuma Vihari, Robin Uthappa and Yusuf Pathan are going for big bids.
What to expect from different teams.
Kings XI Punjab has the maximum amount that can be spent. They have Rs 42.70 crore which will give them some exciting choices. Mumbai Indians have the lowest amount available, but they don’t need to bring in too many players either.
Chennai only has 5 spots left so expect them to have a lukewarm auction. KKR will be tempted to find a replacement for Chris Lynn, while KXIP will have to find fast bowlers because they don’t have many at their disposal.
