If there’s one thing that has brought Indians of diverse backgrounds together for decades to celebrate, it’s Cricket. And it wouldn’t have been possible for the entertainment industry to create content on a much-loved theme like Cricket. So in 2017, Amazon Prime came up with a sports drama series called Inside Edge, which revolved around a fictional T20 cricket team whose owners run a spot-fixing syndicate across the league.

Shortly after the success of Season 1, the show was renewed for a second season and released in December 2019. Since fans couldn’t get over the show’s charm, Amazon decided to come up with the third season, and here are all the details.
Inside Edge season 3 release date:
Season 3 of Inside Edge was on the list of shows to be released by Amazon Prime in 2020, but the pandemic delayed post production. Sources say post production is in its final stages and announcement for release could be made soon.
Currently, some other shows are about to be released by Amazon, so Season 3 of Inside Edge is expected to be released in August 2021.
Inside Edge Season 3 Cast:
In the same vein from season 2, the original cast of Inside Edge is expected to return for the third season, inclusive Vivek Oberoi as Vikrant Dhawan, Richa Chaddha as Zarina Malik, Angad Bedi as Arvind Vashishth, Siddhant Chaturvedi as Prashant Kanaujia, Sapna Pabbi as Mantra Patil, Sayani Gupta as Rohini Raghavan, and Aamir Bashir as Yashvardhan Patil. Even Akshay Oberoi is in talks to join the cast for Season 3, although the official announcement hasn’t been made.
Inside Edge Season 3 plot:
Last time we saw Mumbai Mavericks banned for 20 years because of their contribution to the repair scandal. Hence, it is believed that Season 3 will be picked up from here. It’s more fun to find out how the Power Play Alliance operates after the Mumbai Mavericks ban.
