How to watch the new Resident Alien series online from anywhere

Are there aliens among us? This is a question the residents of the sleepy Colorado town of Patience should be asking, as Syfy has adapted the Resident Alien comic book into a new series and we have all the details on how to watch the show on TV or online.

Resident Alien is based on the popular Dark Horse Comic series of the same name, created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse in 2012. The show stars Alan Tudyk from firefly, who plays an alien named Captain Ha Re who crash-lands and gets stuck in a small Colorado town. Interestingly enough, Tudyk even took clown lessons to help him prepare for the role of an alien pretending to be human.

In an effort to blend into the city, Captain Ha Re takes on the human identity of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle about. This is quite easy for him as he is a biologist with special empathetic abilities that allow him to hide his true appearance from most people. Dr. Vanderspiegel soon finds out that he is helping the local police solve murders, because his abilities allow him to see if someone is lying while waiting for rescue by his kind.

While Captain Ha Re crashed in Colorado, he actually has a secret mission on Earth and at the end of the series he has to answer the question, “Are people worth saving?”.

Whether you’re a fan of Alan Tudyk’s past work or the Dark Horse Comic the show is based on, we’ll show you how to watch Resident Alien from around the world.
