How to play PUBG Mobile with a controller
Unfortunately, PUBG Mobile does not yet have controller support for Android or iOS. However, it doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. You can still use a mobile emulator to play the online shooting game on your computer as long as you remember that it will match you with other emulator players.
Step 1: Install an emulator
First, you need to install an emulator on your computer. You can use an Android emulator such as Bluestacks Windows and MacIf you are looking for an excellent iOS Emulator for PC, you should give Smartface a try.
Step 2: Install the game
Now that you have installed your emulator, it is time to find and install PUBG Mobile. You can search for it in Google Play Save or Apple Store as you would on your mobile device in the main lobby of the emulator. You may have to wait a few minutes for the installation to complete, depending on your internet speed.
Step 3: Configure the controller
Once PUBG Mobile is installed, you have one more task before you can start gaming. You need to install a driver for your controller. The PlayStation control generally installs one when you connect it to your PC, while Windows comes with a pre-installed Xbox control driver. Once it is plugged in, you need to go to the game’s settings and configure the buttons.
Victory is in your hands, soldier
Now that you have a controller back in your hands, you can take on your opponents with improved dexterity. Of course, other players can use the same tactic, so be careful. Many gamers are not used to playing on the touchscreen, so you may have a bigger advantage there. For us here at Softonic, we prefer the latter.
