Hospital Playlist Season 2 Release Date Announced, Script Reading Begins

The South Korean television series Hospital Playlist, released in March 2020, was a success in South Korea. The show is often compared to Grey’s Anatomy and Friends as the story centers around five doctors who have been friends since they entered medical school in 1999.

It is an excellent mix of friendship, love and life. The show has been renewed for a second season and now the official release date has been announced.

When will Season 2 of ‘Hospital Playlist’ be released?

The creators are ready to release the highly anticipated show on June 17, 2021 at 9pm. KST. When the premiere date was announced, several parts were also shared, including photos and videos from the official script reading session.

Director Shin Won Ho told cast members that the chemistry between the characters and their simple stories will add depth and warmth to the second season. Shortly after TvN’s BTS video hit the internet, fans were looking forward to the trending of ‘#HospitalPlaylist’ on Twitter.

Who are all in the cast of ‘Hospital Playlist’ season 2?

Fans should rejoice as all of the Season 1 main cast members return for Season 2, as shown in the script reading. The first script reading session was hosted in January with the main cast including Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yun Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon My Do and Kim Dae Myung. A behind-the-scenes video released April 15 also featured supporting actors such as Kim Hae Sook, Jung Moon Sung, Shin Hyun Bin, Kwak Sun Young, Ahh Eun Jin, Moon Tae Yoo, Choi Young Joon and Ha Yoon Kyung.
